Fatmah Jahim
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
I believe that therapy is the space where healing begins. When we feel genuinely heard, seen, and safe, we can start to unravel our emotions and experiences. I approach therapy with the belief that change comes from the trust we create together. As an Arab-Canadian parent, I understand how to balance cultural roots with personal growth, while also navigating the stigma that comes with diverse identities. My goal is to help you uncover and recognize the strengths within you, even when they might feel hidden or hard to see. Together, we’ll realize those strengths, guiding you toward growth and resilience.

My approach to therapy:
I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities depending on what you need, and I often weave together different approaches to support your goals. My work is deeply rooted in an attachment-based lens, which means I pay close attention to how your early and current relationships shape how you relate to yourself and others.
Cognitive Behavior Therapy
CBT focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. We work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns and gently challenge them to create more supportive and realistic ways of thinking.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
DBT helps you build skills for managing overwhelming emotions, setting boundaries, and navigating relationships with more balance and confidence. It’s especially helpful for those struggling with intense emotional ups and downs.
Emotion-Focused Therapy
Interpersonal Therapy
Psychodynamic Therapy
EFT helps you explore and make sense of your emotional experience. It supports healing by helping you move through difficult emotions and access deeper feelings in a safe and compassionate way.
IPT focuses on the quality of your relationships and social roles. This approach is especially helpful if you’re experiencing grief, role transitions, or relational struggles that affect your mood and self-worth
Psychodynamic work explores how your past experiences, unconscious patterns, and early relationships may still be influencing you today. Together, we can bring awareness to these patterns and begin to shift them.
